Wires & Cables for Extreme Temperatures

Vibraflame^® cables are fire resistant wires and composite cables designed to withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -196°C to + 1565°C. This is an ideal solution for applications in steel and aluminium plants, oil refineries, glass factories, offshore rigs and in military equipment. Vibraflame^® wires and composite cables are safer: heat resistant, they do not propagate flame and do not contain asbestos. They also resist water, chemicals, acids and lubricants. Vibraflame^® composite cables can be used as power, control, coaxial or power feed cables depending on the application. Axon' also offers extension and compensating cables for thermocouples insulated with Vibraflame^® insulation able to resist temperatures up to 1050°C.

Axon' has developed high performance heating cables which prevent the formation of wax and hydrates inside oil and gas long pipelines. This recent technology is an ideal solution to avoid blockages in the flowlines and system shut-downs. High voltage heat tracing cables engineered by Axon' are able to meet the most demanding requirements: deep water conditions including high pressure, high voltage operating and high temperatures (over 200°C)

Oil and gas exploration requires resistance to high temperatures. Axon' manufactures thermocouple cables for temperature probes. For devices operating at high temperatures, the company, expert in miniature Fluor-based wires, offers cables resistant to temperatures ranging from -90°C to + 260°C. Not only round cables but also flat cables can be useful for energy industries. Depending on the construction, Flat cables can save weight but also resist to severe constraints including shocks, vibrations, lifetime and thermal expansion. They can be connected to batteries in very severe environment. Used in solar panels, flat cables have to withstand ultraviolet radiation.
